Alpha is a brilliant introduction to the Christian faith which is run at churches all across the country and indeed around the world. It's been especially designed for people who don't go to church but want to explore what the Christian faith is all about, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and put their own point of view. A huge variety of churches run Alpha, including Greek Orthodox and Roman Catholic, and a few years ago it was featured in an ITV series with Sir David Frost. Over 2 million people in the UK have now taken part in an Alpha course, and at St Paul's we've seen hundreds of people from all kinds of backgrounds enjoy following the course.
The St Paul's course takes place each autumn - if you'd like to join one locally, please contact King's Church: www.kingschurch.com. They generally run a course each school term.
The next course at St Paul's will begin in September - please leave your name with the church office if you'd like us to contact you with details (

The course runs on Wednesday evenings starting with a meal, followed by a talk and coffee, then an opportunity for comments, questions and discussion. The evening wraps up at 9.30 pm. It is a rare opportunity to air those thoughts and ask those questions you have always wanted to, but have never had a comfortable forum within which to do so.
