children

Jesus thought that children were special, so at St Paul's we think so too!  There are age-appropriate groups each Sunday morning at our 10.30 service - they all come under the umbrella of Kidzone - and then during the week Rainbows offers a warm welcome to parents or carers with babies and toddlers.  For more information about any of these activities please contact the church office: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. At St. Paul’s we care passionately about children. We want our kids to have fun, to be safe and grow up knowing that God is love, that Jesus is their friend and that the Holy Spirit is God’s power in their lives. We want them to meet with God! Kidzone is for all kids aged 0 – 11.

Safe We have over 100 children and 6 groups, led by teams of volunteers who give their very best each week to ensure your children are safe and have lots of fun learning about Jesus. We follow the Church of England's “Safe Church” policy for all those involved with children and young people.

What can I expect on Sunday at 10.30am? Apart from the monthly all-age service, when we all stay in church together, children go to their groups about 10 minutes into the service. To help us keep them safe, you need to register them each week if they are between 0 - 6/7 years old (school year 2). Generally younger groups meet in the church; older groups meet in St. Paul’s School.

Registration To register each week, please sign your child in when you take them to their group. Crèche children can be signed in as you arrive on a Sunday. Children up to the age of 6/7 (school year 2) must be accompanied to and from their groups. School years 3-6 may go to their groups unaccompanied, with parental permission.

Kidzone Groups in the church Crèche (0-2’s) uses the ground floor room. Facilities are available from 10.30am (unsupervised); supervised from 10.45am, except at all-age services. You can stay with your child if you are their parent/carer and they struggle to settle on their own. You need to sign in your children and collect at 11.30am. Bubbles nursery is for nursery-age children. They meet upstairs and do lots of fun activities. You need to sign in your children and collect them at 11.30am.

Kidzone Groups in St Paul's School They meet together in the hall for registration and the children are settled on mats with their group leaders. They worship together, enjoy video clips and stories before going to groups at about 11am. The groups are: Bubbles Reception (reception age); Splash 1 (School year 1); Splash 2 (School year 2); Xstream (School years 3-6).

If you decide to make St. Paul’s your home you will need to complete an information form as part of our child protection policy. We trust your child will feel at home with us and will have a really great time!

Rainbows
RainbowsOn Wednesday mornings in term time Rainbows meets for babies and toddlers with their parents/carers in church between 10 and 11.30am.  There are plenty of toys for the children, crafts and singing, and chance for the adults to chat over coffee.  Newcomers are always welcome, though the group is very popular and sometimes we have to close the doors because we're full!  Contact Heather Coupland on 020 8549 8597 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
