I was appointed as vicar in summer 2004, am married to Heather, and we have one daughter, Pippa. We love being in Kingston and part of St Paul's. There's always lots going on - it's sometimes challenging, often exciting but never dull! I have a particular heart for preaching, writing and teaching, and greatly enjoy speaking at Lee Abbey and at New Wine. Heather leads the women's ministry at St Paul's and helps run our baby and toddler groups. In our spare time, we both love reading and writing - Heather writes Bible reading notes and I am a medieval historian, writing about the Vikings and 9th-century coinage (bizarre, I know!). Heather also loves cooking and we all love coffee shops, where we'll often be found on days off and holidays. |

Born in the Highlands of Scotland, which will always be the most beautiful part of the world. I met my husband John at St Andrew's University while studying theology. I was told in 1975 I "would be a Vicar one day!" but joined the Diplomatic Service instead… Four children and 25 years later I was ordained in October 2000 as a non-stipendiary minister. My passion is to worship God and to enable others to do the same. I am also involved with the pastoral care of the church. In my spare time I love to relax with family and friends over a good meal, sing and get creative - not necessarily all at the same time!

I have been the assistant curate at St Paul's since June 2008. It’s great to be here as I learn the ropes on how to be a vicar! I lead the student work at St Paul's. I was born in Sri Lanka and I am married to Lovisa who comes from Sweden, so you can guess where we go on holiday! Apart from travelling I like music, films, cycling, reading books and garam masala. I am also a keen member of my local gym where I use up my spare energy.

I was brought up in Esher and have lived most of my life within a 5-mile radius of Kingston, apart from times in France and Cameroon. I met my husband Mark at Cambridge, although he comes from New Malden, and we have two teenage daughters. My previous work experience was in Human Resources, management training and coaching. When I am not in the church office, I work as a hypnotherapist. I also help to co-ordinate the Prayer Ministry team.
