St Paul's Bible School

On Wednesday evenings in the spring term, a new venture for St Paul's: a chance to dig deeper into the Bible and understand the Old Testament better with Simon Coupland.

Jan 11th Original blessing - the theology of Genesis (to Revelation!)

Jan 25th Slavery to sonship - the theology of the exodus

Feb 8th The law of love - the theology of Exodus-Deuteronomy

Feb 22nd Nobody’s a nobody - the theology of the judges

Mar 14th Serving two masters - the theology of the kings

Mar 28th Threat and promise - the theology of the prophets

The evening will start with refreshments at 7:30pm (offers to serve those to Simon, please!) then there will be a mixture of teaching, questions and discussion, finishing at 9.30. All are welcome to one or to all - do put the dates in your diary now.  St Paul's night will take place as usual on the first Wednesday of the month, and there's an opportunity for home groups who want to come to the Bible School en masse to meet in the intervening weeks.

Mission at St Paul's
At St Paul's we believe that mission and outreach are crucial elements in the life of the church. We believe that ALL Christians are called to mission - to witnessing to Christ wherever we are - but we also recognise that some are called to a life of mission, which needs financial support from the rest of the body of Christ. At St Paul's we have links with a number of mission partners - individuals and organisations, at home and overseas - whom we support with our prayers, our money and our practical assistance. And we've now created a Mission page on the website so that church members can keep up to date with our mission partners by following the internet links, and visitors to the site can see who those mission partners are. Just click on the link on the left hand menu.
