St Paul's Bible School

On Wednesday evenings in the spring term, a new venture for St Paul's: a chance to dig deeper into the Bible and understand the Old Testament better with Simon Coupland.

Jan 11th Original blessing - the theology of Genesis (to Revelation!)

Jan 25th Slavery to sonship - the theology of the exodus

Feb 8th The law of love - the theology of Exodus-Deuteronomy

Feb 22nd Nobody’s a nobody - the theology of the judges

Mar 14th Serving two masters - the theology of the kings

Mar 28th Threat and promise - the theology of the prophets

The evening will start with refreshments at 7:30pm (offers to serve those to Simon, please!) then there will be a mixture of teaching, questions and discussion, finishing at 9.30. All are welcome to one or to all - do put the dates in your diary now.  St Paul's night will take place as usual on the first Wednesday of the month, and there's an opportunity for home groups who want to come to the Bible School en masse to meet in the intervening weeks.

St. Paul's Family News
The Smith family

Our mission partners Craig and Claudia Smith and their children Bethany and Leo have been in Kabale in Uganda with Crosslinks for three years now, and we were thrilled to see them and to catch up with their news in June 2011. They have returned to Uganda with exciting plans to develop their work: keep up with what they're doing through their latest newsletter at the back of church, or their illustrated blog: www.smithsinafrica.blogspot.com  Why not send them a message of encouragement?
