St Paul's Bible School

On Wednesday evenings in the spring term, a new venture for St Paul's: a chance to dig deeper into the Bible and understand the Old Testament better with Simon Coupland.

Jan 11th Original blessing - the theology of Genesis (to Revelation!)

Jan 25th Slavery to sonship - the theology of the exodus

Feb 8th The law of love - the theology of Exodus-Deuteronomy

Feb 22nd Nobody’s a nobody - the theology of the judges

Mar 14th Serving two masters - the theology of the kings

Mar 28th Threat and promise - the theology of the prophets

The evening will start with refreshments at 7:30pm (offers to serve those to Simon, please!) then there will be a mixture of teaching, questions and discussion, finishing at 9.30. All are welcome to one or to all - do put the dates in your diary now.  St Paul's night will take place as usual on the first Wednesday of the month, and there's an opportunity for home groups who want to come to the Bible School en masse to meet in the intervening weeks.

New Wine 2012

The New Wine summer conference offers great worship, inspiring teaching, brilliant children’s and youth work, and time to relax in the Somerset countryside.  We had the biggest group ever from St Paul's attending in summer 2011, and everyone had a great time.  In 2012 New Wine LSE (for London and the South-East) runs from 21st to 27th July, and a number of St Paul's members have already booked their accommodation, including the Coupland family.  You can book online at www.new-wine.org/, and there are discounts if you book before 2nd April 2012.
