Sanctuary

We believe at St Paul’s that to follow Jesus is to live in community, serving, loving and caring for one another. We want to build relationships, not just on a Sunday but real life giving, every day friendships.

Welcome to Sanctuary, there’s lots going on during the morning and you’re welcome to drop in for as much or as little as you want, but some useful timings are:

  • From 9 until 12 - Our free cafe and Co-working Space are open to all

  • From 9:30 until 11:30 - The Repair Cafe will be open

  • From 10:45 until 11:45 - Is time for Psalms & Stretches

  • From 12 until 1pm - It’s Informal Communion and Lunch and everyone is welcome

Our Repair Cafe

is part of the repaircafe.org initiative to fix and mend broken household and personal items rather than throw them away! We love being able to restore and renew beloved items and maybe learn some new skills along the way. We specifically have skills in:

  • repairing clothes (no alterations)

  • fixing small electrical items

  • general mending of small household items

  • IT support for laptops/phones

All our repairers are volunteers and cannot guarantee a perfect fix – but we’d love to try! We operate on a first come first served basis, but please do get in touch beforehand if you have any questions about what you can bring.

Along side our repairers we have volunteer crafters who would love to introduce you to some new skills or invite you to knit/sew alongside them!

A free class for all ages and abilities, that combines gentle Pilates with meditation on a Psalm.

Co-working Space

Situated on a quiet mezzanine and comes equipped with free-wifi, desks with monitors and coffee on tap!
